Highlights from a year of Feelin’ FRISKY
It has been an awesome year for us at FRISKY, with over 30 new shows, 2 events at ADE, the release of our new Android App, a huge upgrade to the iOS App, the launch of the FRISKY Talk podcast, and tons and tons of kickass Underground Electronic Music. We’re so grateful for our FRISKY Family, a truly special global community with (in our totally unbiased opinion) the very best DJs and the very best fans in the industry. We’re so glad you call us your Home for Underground Electronic Music, and are excited about everything that we will do together in 2018. But before we get too far ahead, let’s recap the Year in FRISKY 2017:
New Shows
What else would you want besides more music? We added 32 new shows across all three channels, for a variety of styles and tastes to fit your refined palette. Which is your new favorite?
FRISKY ADE 2017
We had two amazing events for our third trip to ADE: GET FRISKY ADE at Club NL & WE ARE FRISKY at W Amsterdam.
Live streamed from Amsterdam, it was awesome to connect with fans around the world while the FRISKY DJs were tearing up the decks. Huge thank you to the DJs and to everyone who came to hang out with us, it really was something special and an absolute highlight of the year.
Android App
With FRISKY for Android, we brought the best underground electronic music service to over 1.8 billion mobile devices across the world. Now, anyone, anywhere in the universe can listen, discover and enjoy new music on FRISKY’s revolutionary streaming platform featuring the largest catalogue of underground electronic music DJ mixes.
iOS App Update
This new iOS Update was a complete re-write of the code based on your feedback. We went back to the fundamentals with an eye on quality and performance improvements across the board. The update also includes some new features and updated UI for a better and cleaner user experience!
FRISKY Talk
We launched a new series this year, featuring intimate chats with FRISKY DJs and friends. Guests included Ingo Vogelmann, Quivver, Paul Sawyer, Nick Muir, Paolo Mojo, Pole Folder, and Paul Nolan. Check out the full series here: FRISKY Talk
