How did you first get involved in the music?
Growing up surrounded by art forms, it was easy for me to get stuck into music rhythms from the early childhood. First experience with electronic dance music comes in the late ‘90s when I started spinning my very first vinyls.
Is there a particular style of music that you feel most connected with?
Since then I was finding big interest & attraction into House, Progressive & Tech House beats & pieces that could provide serious grooves based on melodic beats & pumping bass.
What do you love most about what you do?
I feel like the happiest man on earth having the privilege to do what I do.
From DJing professionally, to creating my own beats, up to running our baby ‘MOVEMENT RECORDINGS’ and the label showcases around the world.
What is the story behind Movement Recordings? What are your goals as a label?
Movement idea was received in late ’08 together with dutch partner in crime Stage Van H, launching our own label imprint in order to release our stuff as well as friends’ music. Since then, Movement started growing bigger and bigger by time and achieved to get aboard some of our favourite producers, supporting the idea and building together ‘Movement’ and spread our sounds all around the world, varying from electronica & deeper tech house, to progressive house, even up to tech house & techno.
What can listeners expect to hear on your new show?
Listeners of Movement On Frisky will be able to preview exclusive promos & forthcoming releases of Movement, as well as label friends and producers from around the world, in 2hr stories (episodes) delivering some quality electronic dance music!
Do you have any other upcoming projects that you are excited about?
I’m really excited to have various bookings & showcases on major events & festivals with label artists of Movement to come up all around the world, from Europe to South America, Middle East & Asia while at the same time I’m personally working on some fresh beats & pieces to come out till end of 2017, before being ready to focus on my debut solo album with the new year!
Exciting things on the horizon! Be sure to check out the premiere of Movement on July 3rd @ 2PM EST [convert timezone] or listen on demand after launch!:
