TLDR: FRISKY Loves Malaysia showcases the talented DJs that rock Kuala Lumpur & beyond all year long.

FRISKY Radio’s tour around the globe is landing in Malaysia on September 26th, showcasing the country’s most dedicated DJs with hours of the best underground house and techno. Bringing their decades of experience playing at the greatest clubs in Kuala Lumpur, and touring throughout Asia & Europe, these DJs will be keeping the airwaves rocking from start to finish.

Even through the current popularity of big room sound, Kuala Lumpur has been able to keep their underground house and techno scene going strong for more than two decades. With multiple parties every week, a steady list of touring DJs, and popular local stars, KL’s nightlife scene is a constant part of the city’s culture. DJ Kuma explains:

“…in KL underground, house music is not just a genre… it’s also a lifestyle, and a culture…”

Having a wide variety of backgrounds, races, and religions living together fits well with that lifestyle, one that consists of peacefulness, partying, and great vibes. With multiple festivals and a large number of international DJs visiting Malaysia every year, there is always something exciting happening to join in on.

These events wouldn’t be able to thrive however, without the efforts of the talented local DJs who continuously drive the scene. These are the DJs you will be hearing from on FRISKY Loves Malaysia, the ones who rock the local clubs every week and keep the underground scene thriving all year long. Playing in clubs such as Zouk, Never Mine bar, and Nagaba, and with monthly features from Ohrwurm, these DJs are bringing the true experience of the Malaysian nightlife to the airwaves on this latest edition of the FRISKY Loves series.
