Bonch’s winning mix for the Get FRISKY with Selador Mix Competition introduced him to the FRISKY audience, his variety and flow gathering the attention of the Selador team and thousands of listeners around the world. Now he’s introducing a monthly mix series of his own making: Audible Fusion. His fresh style and proclivity for fun means we can expect to hear a unique blend of genre defying tracks that encourage you to dance, no matter where you are.
As the name of the show suggests it will be a fusion of my favorite music, tracks that influenced, inspired and most definitely made me dance.
Along those lines, I thought it would be fun to do a quick Q&A with Bonch, giving us the opportunity to get to know him a little better before launch:
Sunrise or Sunset?
Most definitely Sunset. I always find it very inspiring.
What do you like to listen to, besides music?
The Sound of waves crashing, I find them very relaxing.
What is one of your “guilty pleasure” songs or artists?
haha Skeewiff – Man Of Constant Sorrow for some reason. Every time I hear this song I catch my self with a smile.
What do you think is one of your most unusual beliefs or habits?
I listen to music every day with every chance I get. This is my most essential habit.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Ibiza – the weather is warm and sunny with crystal clear sea.
If you could travel anywhere in time, when would you go?
Back in the early 2000 because that’s when I had the most carefree fun.
Where is your favorite place to “get away from it all”?
That would be my studio.
If you could be a character in any movie, who would you be?
Paul Kalkbrenner in Berlin Calling
If your life were a game, what would it be called?
Life is a party so party hard.
What is one album, one book, and one movie that you would take with you to a deserted island?
I love movies and books but music is more important so I’d choose three albums Moderat- Moderat (2009), Unkle – Where did the night fall (2010), Sasha – Refracted (2017)
